Practice Overview
- Team: The clinical team includes 4 Midwives and is supported by 1 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist.
- Setting: This is a hospital-employed clinic located within walking distance from the hospital.
- L&D Facilities: Features include 10 delivery suites, 4 triage rooms, 1 dedicated OB operating room, Anesthesia services, and a Level II Nursery.
Clinical Expectations
- Case Mix: OB/GYN case mix is approximately 80% OB and 20% GYN.
- Schedule: A typical weekly schedule consists of 1.5 OR days and 2.5 clinic days.
- Volume: The practice manages approximately 300 annual deliveries originating from the clinic.
- Procedures: The scope of work includes circumcisions, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, ablation, myomectomy, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, LEEP, and urogynecology.
Call & Coverage
- Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate both part-time and full-time interests.
- Call: The call schedule ranges from 7 to 10 days per month.
- Support: Providers receive support from OB hospitalists and midwives for deliveries and emergencies.
- Environment: A collaborative coverage model is utilized to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Financials: A competitive $400,000 base salary with metric-based incentives up to $50,000 and a $75,000 sign-on bonus.
- Relocation: Support for relocation expenses up to $15,000.
- RVU Model: Production threshold of 7,353 RVUs with $54.40 paid per excess RVU.
Time Off/Perks: Benefit package includes $7,000 for CME, 27 days of PTO/Holidays, and access to an on-site gym.
