Healthcare United is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN hospitalist for a permanent opportunity in northwestern Illinois. This on-call-only role offers $340,000–$400,000 and a 7-on/7-off schedule; the physician is not required to remain in-house all night. The program supports approximately 550 annual births and a Level II nursery.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage deliveries and urgent OB/GYN needs
• Provide C-section coverage
• Coordinate care with the obstetric team
Qualifications
• Illinois license or eligibility
• Strong labor and delivery experience
Working Hours
• 161 annual shifts
• 7 PM–7 AM Monday–Thursday
• Noon Friday–7 AM Monday
• On-call only; not continuously in-house
