Job description CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking an OB/GYN physician for inpatient coverage across multiple date blocks through April 2027. 268-bed regional referral center. 24/7 availability required. Light patient volume, 1-5 per day. $3,800 per 24-hour call period with 4 gratis hours. $450/hr callback. Only OB/GYN practice in town covering two hospitals. Epic EMR. 60-90 day credentialing.

Job Responsibilities

Daily rounding on all admitted OB/GYN patients. ED consults for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and C-section. GYN ED consultations and treatment. Major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures. Inpatient only, no outpatient clinic. Must be available to go at any time.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible OB/GYN. Full-scope OB/GYN procedures required. NE license or IMLC. Epic EMR. 60-90 day credentialing. Local preferred, travel not required.

Working Hours

October 16-18, November 14-15, November 25-30, December 23-January 4, February 19-21, April 14-16. 7am to 7am 24-hour call structure. $3,800 per 24-hour call period, 4 gratis hours. $450/hr callback. Lodging at Candlewood Suites Kearney.
