Facility:
This is a 268-bed acute care inpatient and outpatient regional referral center serving the surrounding Nebraska community. The facility provides comprehensive OB/GYN services on a 24/7 basis and utilizes Epic EMR with full hospital support staff available for inpatient coverage.Opportunity:
Physician - OB/GYNJob Details:
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage on a 24-hour call basis for scheduled gap periods
- Responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the OB/GYN service
- Manage any consults received during the assignment and must be available to respond at any time
- On-call coverage to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section
- Gynecology call to the emergency department including consultation and treatment as needed
- Diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum
- Perform major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures
- Expected patient volume of 1-5 patients per day
- EMR system: Epic
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics/Gynecology required
- Active Nebraska license or IMLC with active Letter of Qualification required
- ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Availability at time of name clear required
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
