Seeking a Locum OB/GYN Physician to provide hospital based obstetric and gynecologic coverage in Vancouver, WA.
• • • Assignment begins October 6, 2026
• • • 26 week assignment
• • • Coverage needed for backfill & known gaps
• • • Hospital coverage with potential for expanded clinic coverage
• • • Approximately 50–75 deliveries per month
• • • Adult female patient population
• • • Approximately 2–6 deliveries during a 24 hour shift
• • • Work alongside other OB/GYN providers
• • • EPIC EMR
• • • Travel assistance available subject to applicable caps
Job Responsibilities
• • • Evaluate & manage obstetric patients
• • • Perform inpatient OB/GYN consultations
• • • Provide rounding & admissions
• • • Manage labor & delivery patients
• • • Perform Cesarean sections
• • • Perform D&C procedures
• • • Provide other required inpatient OB/GYN procedures
• • • Respond to occasional Emergency Department calls
• • • Collaborate with hospitalists & other OB/GYN providers
• • • Provide appropriate patient follow up & documentation
• • • Participate in approximately 3 call shifts as scheduled
Qualifications
• • • Board Certified in OB/GYN
• • • Active Washington medical license required
• • • Washington license in hand preferred due to credentialing timeline
• • • BLS certification required
• • • BLS must be from AHA or American Red Cross as applicable
• • • EPIC experience required
• • • Recent clinical case documentation required
• • • At least 100 patients during the previous 24 months
• • • At least 15 Cesarean sections during the previous 24 months
• • • At least 30 vaginal deliveries during the previous 24 months
• • • At least 50 gynecology patients during the previous 24 months
Working Hours
• • • Shift hours: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
• • • Coverage is scheduled on an as needed basis
• • • Known coverage dates: October 6, November 20 & December 22, 2026
• • • Providers are not required to remain in house, although volume typically results in providers staying onsite
• • • Occasional ED calls & hospitalist backup
• • • Orientation: 8 hours prior to assignment
