Opportunity

A hospital-based OB/GYN practice is seeking an experienced Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for locum tenens coverage in Washington.

This is a high-volume inpatient opportunity with approximately 50–75 deliveries per month and a broad OB/GYN case mix. The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services, including deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs and management of routine and complicated OB/GYN cases.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care

• Vaginal deliveries

• Cesarean sections / C-sections

• Dilation and curettage / D&C procedures

• OB/GYN admissions and rounding

• Discharge planning

• Management of high-risk and complicated deliveries

• Obstetric emergencies

• ED consultations and hospitalist calls

• Multidisciplinary collaboration

• Epic EMR documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Active Washington medical license or willingness to obtain

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC

• Recent inpatient OB/GYN clinical experience

• Recent procedural experience required

Required Recent Case Experience

Within the previous 24 months, candidates must demonstrate:

• At least 15 C-sections

• At least 30 vaginal deliveries

• At least 50 gynecology patients

• Recent C-section experience

• Recent D&C experience

• Documented inpatient OB/GYN clinical activity

Case logs and supporting documentation will be required during credentialing.
