Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician for weekend beeper call coverage. Friday 7pm through Sunday 7pm. $250/hr. One of the fastest OB/GYN credentialing timelines in the Southwest — 15 to 20 days. BC or BE accepted with minimum 1 year experience. AZ license or IMLC LOQ accepted.

Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet in northern Arizona surrounded by ponderosa pine forests with the Grand Canyon an hour away. For an OB/GYN who wants weekend locum income in one of Arizona's most compelling locations, this is worth a look.

Job Responsibilities

24-hour beeper call, Friday 7pm through Sunday 7pm. 1 to 3 deliveries per shift. Average 8 to 12 callback hours per 24-hour shift — this is a busy call role, not light coverage. Full OB/GYN scope at a 268-bed hospital. Cerner EMR.

Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible OB/GYN. Minimum 1 year experience. AZ license or IMLC LOQ required. DEA required. BC or BE accepted. Credentialing 15-20 days. Clean background required.

Working Hours

Friday 7pm through Sunday 7pm. Two 24-hour beeper call periods per weekend. $250/hr. Travel covered.
