Job description Kennewick, Washington — a LifePoint Health facility — is seeking three board-certified OB/GYN physicians for locum coverage beginning September 4, 2026 with ongoing need into 2027. Scheduled clinical hours plus call. Temp privileges available for providers with clean backgrounds and completed applications. WA license or IMLC accepted. Insurance provided by GQR. Nearest airport is Tri-Cities (PSC) with lodging at Hampton Inn Kennewick or Comfort Inn at Southridge.

Job Responsibilities

Clinic coverage Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to noon. Daily rounding approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour on Labor and Delivery and postpartum patients. Beeper call, 30-minute response time, 1:3 ratio. Average 24-hour call: 12 phone consults, 5 patients seen, 2-5 admissions. Admissions required. Teaching and resident supervision required.

Qualifications

Board certified OB/GYN required. Fellowship preferred. Active Washington state license or IMLC required. Vendor does not reimburse licensing costs. BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring required. Clean background, drug screen, and malpractice required. McKesson and Athena EMR. Credentialing: temp privileges available for clean file with completed application.

Working Hours

Clinic: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-noon. Call: 7am to 7am, beeper, 30-minute response. Rounding: 30 minutes to 1 hour daily. Open dates: September 4-7, October 23-25, October 30-November 1, November 25-29, December 21-January 3. Orientation required day before each new block start. Likely ongoing into 2027.
