An established healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled OB/GYN Physician to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare services to adult patients throughout Southwest Florida.
This opportunity is ideal for a physician who enjoys providing full-scope OB/GYN care, including prenatal care, deliveries, cesarean sections, gynecologic procedures, preventive healthcare, and patient education.
The physician will work collaboratively with experienced providers, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, hospital teams, and support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse community.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while practicing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic medicine in both outpatient and hospital-based settings.
Job Responsibilities
Perform prenatal evaluations and routine gynecologic examinations
Manage pregnancies and perform hospital deliveries
Perform cesarean sections and obstetric procedures
Perform gynecologic surgeries as clinically appropriate
Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up care
Diagnose and treat gynecologic and obstetric conditions
Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing
Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
Provide preventive health counseling and patient education
Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff
Participate in office and hospital coverage schedules
Maintain accurate medical documentation and compliance standards
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
Strong clinical judgment and patient-care skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience providing full-scope OB/GYN services
Hospital-based obstetric experience
Strong surgical background
Experience serving diverse patient populations
Spanish bilingual skills preferred
