Call Coverage: OB and GYN Emergency Department
Average Callback Hours: 5 to 7 hours
In-House Requirement: No, but physician must be within a 20-minute response time
No clinic or office patients
Schedule
November 16 to November 21, ending at 8:00 AM
November 23 to November 28, ending at 8:00 AM
Clinical Details
Full-scope OB/GYN coverage
Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Perform gynecological surgeries
Approximately 16 to 20 patients per day
Approximately 40 deliveries per month
No NICU
EMR: Cerner
Support staff includes a dedicated Medical Assistant and Practice Manager
Requirements
Updated CV
Active California medical license required
Board Certified in OB/GYN highly preferred
Board Eligible physicians may be considered if actively on staff at another Joint Commission-accredited hospital without monitoring or proctoring requirements
BLS and DEA required/preferred for credentialing
NRP and/or PALS highly preferred
Clean malpractice and background history preferred
Must be available for the listed dates at the time of presentation

Emergency privileges may be available
