Job description Sanford Worthington in Worthington, Minnesota is seeking an OB/GYN or Family Practice physician with OB skills for locum coverage across three date blocks — September 19-20, October 31 through November 1, and December 24-27. A staff physician is out for a medical procedure. C-sections are required and non-negotiable. Competitive rate structure including clinic pay, callback, weeknight beeper, and weekend call with gratis hours. MN license or IMLC accepted — no MN license? We will license you. Open to one physician covering all dates or two splitting the schedule.

Job Responsibilities

OB/GYN clinic coverage Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. 12 to 15 patients per day, 60% GYN and 40% OB. Annual exams, paps, prenatal visits, pre-surgical exams, STI management, birth control, OB scheduled visits. Weeknight call 5pm to 7am. Weekend 24-hour call 8am to 8am. C-sections as needed. Midwife and APP support on site, other OB/GYN available as backup.

Qualifications

Board certified OB/GYN or Family Practice physician with OB/C-section skills. C-sections independently required — no exceptions. MN license or IMLC. DEA required. Cover sheet, CV, and NPDB required at submission. Clean background required. Credentialing 60 days. Interview with hospital administrator required.

Working Hours

September 19-20. October 31 through November 1. December 24-27. Clinic M-F 8am to 5pm. Weeknight call 5pm to 7am at $600/night. Weekend 24-hour call at $2,500 with 2 hours gratis. Callback at $225/hr. Clinic rate $175/hr. Full travel: flight up to $1,000, rental car up to $500/week, lodging at Holiday Inn Express or stipend.
