Job description SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician for night shift locum coverage. 1,900 deliveries per year at a regional trauma and transfer center with NICU on site, MFM and GYN ONC consultative 24/7. $250/hr, 6pm to 6am. In-house call with a call room provided — you are in the building for your entire shift, no driving back in from lodging. 7-day stretches preferred but weekends only also accepted. WI license or IMLC accepted — no WI license? We will license you.

Job Responsibilities

Primary coverage for labor and delivery. First call for ED OB/GYN consults. AP floor first call. Assist with C-sections and GYN surgery. Management of high-risk obstetric cases including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, fetal anomalies, and postpartum care. Work alongside dedicated CNM on shift, OB/GYN residents, FP residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

Board certified OB/GYN or board eligible within 2 years. Minimum 1 year experience, 3 years preferred. BLS, ACLS, NRP, DEA required. WI license or IMLC. Clean background and NPDB. High-risk OB experience preferred. Credentialing ongoing — contact recruiter for timeline.

Working Hours

6pm to 6am, 7 nights per week available. 7-day stretches preferred. Weekends only accepted. Ongoing need. $250/hr. OT at 1.3x. Holiday at 1.3x. Full travel covered: airfare, rental car, lodging.
