A healthcare organization in Westchester County is seeking an OBGYN Hospitalist to provide hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic coverage in a high-acuity, well-supported clinical setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: 14 to 15 shifts per month
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for unassigned patients who present to labor and delivery or obstetrical consultations from the emergency department
- Provide triage and OB emergency department services
- Perform vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and related obstetrical procedures as needed
- Support private practice obstetrical providers in emergency situations and coordinated care
- Serve as a Surgical Assistant for private obstetrical providers
Qualifications:
- MD or DO
- Active or eligible for New York State medical licensure
- Completion of an OB/GYN residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of OB/GYN experience
