OB/GYN Physician Opportunity – Southwest Florida
A well-established healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join its growing Women’s Health team.
This opportunity is open to both experienced physicians and candidates completing OB/GYN residency who are seeking their first attending position.
The physician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, deliveries, gynecologic procedures, and surgical services in a supportive clinical environment.
The practice offers strong physician support, collaborative care with experienced midwives, and an excellent work-life balance in a desirable Florida location.
Job Responsibilities
Manage prenatal and gynecologic patients
Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Perform appropriate gynecologic procedures
Provide preventative women's healthcare services
Diagnose and treat medical conditions
Collaborate with advanced practice providers and clinical staff
Maintain accurate medical documentation
Participate in hospital coverage and call responsibilities
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Ability to obtain hospital privileges
Preferred:
Spanish bilingual skills
Experience serving diverse patient populations
Robotic surgery experience
Working Hours
Approximately 40–50 hours/week
Call schedule: 1:6
Post-call day off
Night call from home with hospital response as needed
