🔥 Locum OBGYN Physician – Laborist | Pennsylvania (DR)

24-Hour In-House Call | No C-Sections | September–December 2026

📅 Exact Dates Needed

• September: 21, 22, 26
• October: 16–18
• November: 10, 11, 13–15
• December: 8, 9, 11–13

Schedule:

• One 24-hour shift per week, 6 AM–6 AM
• One 48-hour weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday)
• Facility will consider 4–5 shift blocks, but back-to-back shifts are not allowed
• Minimum commitment: 2 shifts/month
• Provider must be able to work the exact dates needed

🏥 Position Overview

Seeking a BC OBGYN physician for an in-house Laborist role.

Responsibilities:

• In-house call
• Normal laborist duties
• Deliveries
• Minor GYN surgeries
• Supervision and teaching of residents and APPs

Important: No C-sections.

👩‍⚕️ Patient & Facility Details

• Approximately 45–55 deliveries/month
• 5,000+ deliveries/year
• 317-bed hospital
• Level III NICU
• Burn/Trauma Center
• MFM and GYN Oncology in-house
• APPs available on the floor for triage and deliveries
• OB group onsite at all times
• Onsite call room available

📋 Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• BLS & ACLS
• Pennsylvania medical license strongly preferred
• PA DEA required
• IMLC/standard licensure candidates may be considered
• Must be able to complete hospital privileging requirements
• Act 33, Act 34 & Act 73 background checks required

⏳ Credentialing

Hospital privileging typically takes 90–120 days from application to network committee meeting.

Application and all required documentation must be completed and returned within 10 days of receipt.
