Locums | OB/GYN | Richland, WA (WA or IMLC) Why This Role

  • WA or IMLC accepted
  • No call (limited backup hospital call only)
  • Full-time or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • Long-term 12+ month assignment — locums-to-perm potential
  • High-volume women's health program (~3,000 deliveries/year)
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP, ongoing; 12+ month assignments Schedule: Full-time preferred (5 days/week, 4 weeks/month); minimum 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off acceptable; limited backup hospital call; may leave clinic for urgent hospital coverage when on backup Coverage type: Inpatient and outpatient — clinic, hospital OR, and ambulatory surgery center; must cover at least two settings, all three preferred Volume: ~20 patients/shift; ~3,000 deliveries/year Setting: Level 2 trauma, stroke certified; growing women's health program Support: Works alongside OB/GYNs, 13 APPs, and certified nurse midwives; provides mentorship to newer providers EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~90 days Clinical Details Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation), routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major) Preferred scope: Level I and II OB ultrasounds Must practice independently and collaborate with APPs and midwives Requirements Board certified in OB/GYN At least 3 years post-training (or 2 years plus fellowship); recent clinic and surgical experience License: WA or IMLC BLS Active DEA Compensation Rate caps apply: $325/hr Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
