Locum Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Alaska
Location: Alaska
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment: Ongoing coverage
Schedule: Approximately 1 week per month / 0.25 FTE
Job Responsibilities
Night call Monday–Friday
24-hour weekend call Saturday/Sunday
Call may be scheduled in 2–3 day blocks
Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Rounding and admissions required
Average clinic volume: ~10 patients/day
Labor & Delivery volume: 0–2 patients/day
Full-scope General OB/GYN
No routine scheduled surgeries expected unless additional coverage/first assist is needed
Always a second OB/GYN available on call
Epic EMR
Critical Access Hospital setting
Approximately 25 beds, including 5 L&D beds
Qualifications
Active Alaska license preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain an AK license
BLS required
Recent 24 months of case logs
Full-scope OB/GYN experience
Epic experience preferred/required
Working Hours
Night call Monday–Friday
