## OB/GYN Physician Opening | Brattleboro, VT Located in Brattleboro, Vermont Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time OB/GYN opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont * Join an established, hospital-owned women's health practice providing full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care * Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services to a diverse community patient population * Manage gynecologic consultations referred from primary care providers and certified nurse midwives * Perform a variety of office-based gynecologic procedures * Maintain an active surgical practice with access to three modern operating rooms * Perform minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic gynecologic surgery * Typical schedule includes 3–4 clinic days per week, seeing approximately 12–14 patients per day * Average of three dedicated operating room days per month * Serve as physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveries * Practice within a Birth Center offering: * VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) * Water birth * Nitrous oxide for labor * 24-hour epidural services * Collaborate with physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants * Shared 1:4 home call rotation with manageable call responsibilities * Long-standing, stable practice with excellent physician and staff retention * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Annual salary: $280,000–$360,000 * Additional compensation for extra call beyond the scheduled rotation * Compensation based on experience and internal equity ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology * Completion of an accredited U.S. or Canadian OB/GYN residency program * Vermont medical license or eligibility * Clean malpractice and licensure history required * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Benefits * Comprehensive medical benefits * Generous vacation and paid holidays * CME allowance * Pension plan * Potential State of Vermont student loan repayment eligibility * Flexible scheduling supporting work-life balance * Collaborative physician-led practice with strong administrative support ## Community Details Brattleboro is a vibrant New England community known for its scenic beauty, thriving arts scene, and exceptional quality of life.
