Southwest Florida | Full-Time | $300,000–$400,000 Base Salary + $50,000 Commencement Bonus

A well-established healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join its Women’s Health team.

This is a full-scope OB/GYN role with outpatient, hospital, delivery, and surgical responsibilities. Physicians are supported by 9 Certified Nurse Midwives providing 24/7 hospital coverage, allowing overnight physician call to be taken from home with in-person response as clinically needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• $300,000–$400,000 base salary, based on experience
• Approximately $300,000 starting salary for physicians completing residency
• $50,000 commencement bonus
• Up to $10,000 relocation reimbursement
• $5,000 annual employer pension contribution
• Full pension vesting after 5 years
• Up to $3,000 annually for CME
• 20 paid days off
• 9 paid holidays

Schedule & Call

• Approximately 40–50 hours per week
• 1:6 call rotation
• Day off following call
• Overnight call taken from home
• 24/7 in-hospital Certified Nurse Midwife coverage

Clinical Scope

• Prenatal and obstetric care
• Labor and delivery
• Cesarean sections
• General gynecologic care
• Preventive women’s health
• Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions
• Hysterectomies, colposcopies, and other appropriate surgical procedures
• Robotic surgery privileges available at the hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in outpatient and hospital settings
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage women’s health conditions
• Perform deliveries and appropriate gynecologic procedures
• Interpret diagnostic testing and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications as clinically indicated
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Participate in required office and hospital coverage
• Collaborate with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Supervise mid-level providers, nurses, medical students, or other personnel as required
• Maintain productivity and quality standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Current or eligible Florida medical license
• Ability to obtain appropriate hospital privileges
• Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Experience working with diverse patient populations preferred
