OB/GYN Physician | Near Fort Worth, Texas
Join an established OB/GYN practice in Decatur, Texas, with an existing patient base following the retirement of a long-tenured physician.
Position Highlights
- Take over an established patient panel
- Minimum 1:1 LVN support ratio
- Clinical staff with at least five years of tenure
- Approximately 18 to 20 patients per day
- 30-minute new patient appointments and 15-minute follow-ups
Schedule & Call
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hospital rounds from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, with clinic appointments beginning at 9:00 AM
- Seven call days per month
- Approximately three to four calls per week during your call rotation
- Most physicians cover deliveries for their own patients during the week
- Facility averages 20 to 30 deliveries per month
Practice & Resources
- 10 LDRP rooms and two dedicated OB ORs
- Level I Nursery
- 24/7 in-house CRNA coverage
- In-house lab and ultrasound
- eClinicalWorks in clinic and MEDITECH in the hospital
Candidate Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Comfort practicing in a community setting with a Level I Nursery and Level I Maternal designation
- Ability to meet a 30-minute call radius requirement
- Comfort caring for a Spanish-speaking patient population desired
