an excellent Locum Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician opportunity in Vancouver, Washington. This assignment offers a flexible schedule with only 3–4 twenty-four-hour call shifts per month, making it a great option for physicians looking to supplement their practice while working with a collaborative OB/GYN team.
Job Responsibilities
Perform labor and delivery coverage, patient admissions, and rounding.
Perform Cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and other inpatient OB/GYN procedures.
Evaluate and manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies.
Collaborate with hospitalists and the OB/GYN team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Active Washington State Medical License.
Current BLS certification.
Recent clinical experience meeting credentialing requirements, including Cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries.
Experience using Epic EMR is preferred.
Working Hours
Setting: Primarily Hospital (Clinic privileges may be added if needed)
Call: 24-hour call coverage with approximately 2–6 deliveries per shift
EMR: Epic
Skills
Cesarean section and D&C procedural experience.
Inpatient OB/GYN and emergency obstetric care.
Excellent surgical and clinical decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork.
Strong documentation and Epic EMR proficiency.
Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
