Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Hospital-Based Laborist Program
• Schedule: 12-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Shift Flexibility: Work individual shifts or multiple consecutive 24-hour periods
• Coverage Needed: ASAP after credentialing through the transition to a permanent Laborist model (anticipated Q1 2027)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 0–6 patients per shift
• Call: In-house Laborist coverage with gynecology emergency department call and hospital outpatient practice call while on shift
• Ongoing Opportunity: Yes

Clinical Responsibilities

You'll provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including:

• Vaginal deliveries
• Cesarean sections
• Emergency gynecologic surgery
• Gynecology consultation for the Emergency Department
• Daily inpatient rounding and discharges
• Collaboration with Certified Nurse Midwives and the hospital care team
• Opportunity to interact with GME residents when present

Practice Support

• EMR: Epic Stork
• Collaborative multidisciplinary Labor & Delivery team
• Midwife support
• Hospital-based practice with dedicated inpatient focus

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Ohio license or IMLC eligibility with a Letter of Qualification accepted
• ACLS and DEA required
