A respected, mission-driven healthcare organization in Southwest Florida is seeking a compassionate and clinically accomplished OB/GYN Physician to join its collaborative women’s health team.

This position offers the opportunity to practice full-scope obstetrics and gynecology while caring for a diverse patient population throughout every stage of life. The physician will provide prenatal care, labor and delivery services, preventive women’s healthcare, gynecologic treatment, and surgical management within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including:
  • Prenatal and postpartum care
  • Labor and delivery services
  • Routine and complex gynecologic evaluations
  • Preventive women’s health services
  • Family-planning and reproductive healthcare
  • Management of acute and chronic women’s health conditions
• Conduct comprehensive histories, physical examinations, diagnostic evaluations, and clinical assessments.
• Interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and preventive treatments within the physician’s scope of practice.
• Perform obstetric and gynecologic procedures, including:
  • Cesarean sections
  • Hysterectomies
  • LEEP procedures
  • Colposcopies
  • Additional surgical procedures consistent with training and hospital privileges
• Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, preventive care, immunizations, and long-term health maintenance.
• Provide scheduled office and hospital coverage, including occasional evening or weekend responsibilities as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical students, and other clinical professionals.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
• Meet established quality, patient-safety, and specialty productivity standards.
• Obtain and maintain appropriate hospital privileges and professional credentials.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain hospital privileges
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural competency
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills
• Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Experience caring for diverse or multicultural patient populations
• Background in community-based or mission-driven healthcare
• Demonstrated commitment to improving access to high-quality women’s health services
