Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Canton, Ohio - No Call, Flexible Shifts
Provide in-house OB emergency coverage with a choice of 12 or 24-hour shifts and no call responsibilities. The role is primarily obstetric with a broad procedural scope.
Highlights
- No call or callback responsibilities
- PRN monthly scheduling
- Approximately 85 percent obstetric case mix
- Expedited privileges available
Practice & Cases
- Inpatient Labor and Delivery and OB emergency coverage
- Approximately 1-3 deliveries and 6-8 OB emergency patients per shift
- Procedures include vaginal deliveries, C-sections, VAVD, TOLAC, labor inductions, and laceration repair
- Additional scope includes suction D&C, circumcisions, and first assist gynecologic procedures
Schedule
- Choice of 12 or 24-hour shifts
- In-house coverage throughout each scheduled shift
- PRN coverage available monthly
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active Ohio medical license required
- DEA required
