Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Physician for a long-term hospitalist locum opportunity in Wisconsin beginning November 2026. This assignment offers 8–10 24-hour shifts per month, primarily covering Labor & Delivery in a collaborative hospital setting with Epic EMR. Providers open to floating to nearby Wisconsin facilities are highly preferred.
Assignment Details
- Start: November 1, 2026
- Ongoing assignment (6+ months)
- Approximately 8–10 shifts per month
- 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
- Combination of weekday and weekend coverage
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based OB/GYN
- Primarily Labor & Delivery
- Epic EMR
- Approximately 430–475 deliveries annually
Clinical Responsibilities
- Routine labor management
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean sections
- Postpartum rounding
- Emergency gynecologic consultations
- Limited high-risk obstetric care
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Wisconsin license or IMLC
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP required
- DEA and CSR required
- 1–2 years of experience preferred
- Providers willing to float to Janesville, Baraboo, Monroe Clinic, or Madison are highly preferred
Credentialing
- Approximately 60-day credentialing
- IMLC accepted
- All orientation hours billable
Travel
- Airfare (including one checked bag)
- Lodging
- Rental car with gas or mileage reimbursement
- Long-term lodging/Airbnb provided for assignments longer than two weeks
