OB/GYN Physician – Fort Morgan, Colorado

We are seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Fort Morgan, Colorado. This assignment offers 24-hour call coverage with ongoing monthly needs, Epic EMR, and emergency temporary privileges available for qualified candidates.

Assignment Details

• Start: July/August 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• Approximately 10–15 call shifts available per month across all locums
• 24-hour call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
• No trauma designation

• August 23–25
• September 1–3
• Additional ongoing dates beginning in October

Practice Setting

• Community hospital
• 50-bed facility
• Epic EMR
• RN support

Clinical Responsibilities

• General OB/GYN call coverage
• Labor & Delivery
• Obstetrical emergencies
• Gynecologic emergencies
• Cesarean sections and gynecologic procedures as needed
• Inpatient OB/GYN care

Program Details

• Approximately 15 deliveries per month
• Adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient population
• General Surgery available 24/7
• Limited Urology coverage available

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency completion)
• Active Colorado license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Active DEA (highly preferred; required for credentialing)
• Active BLS (highly preferred; required during credentialing)
• Must commit to the requested coverage dates to be considered for ongoing opportunities
• Must indicate the number of ongoing shifts available per month
• Must acknowledge all Epic EMR training requirements
• Must agree to stay at the facility's preferred hotel when available
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of submission required
• Clean malpractice and background history strongly preferred

Credentialing

• Standard credentialing: Approximately 60 days
• Emergency temporary privileges available for providers with clean files
• Active Colorado license or IMLC required before pre-application
• Pre-application and full application must be completed within 72 hours to begin EMR onboarding

Travel

• Preferred lodging provided at approved hotels
• Air travel available (local providers preferred)
• Travel exceptions must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Provider's departure city must be included with submission

An experienced OB/GYN physician seeking ongoing 24-hour call coverage in a community hospital setting. Candidates should be comfortable providing the full scope of inpatient OB/GYN care, committed to Epic training requirements, and available for recurring monthly coverage.
