We are seeking Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalists for a per diem locum opportunity in Texas. Join a well-established hospitalist program providing comprehensive inpatient obstetrical and gynecologic care in a collaborative environment with 24/7 specialty support.

- 24-hour in-house hospitalist shifts
- Flexible per diem scheduling
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based OB/GYN Hospitalist Program
- Collaborative Labor & Delivery environment
- Multidisciplinary inpatient care team
Clinical Responsibilities
- OB triage and admissions
- Labor and delivery management
- Inpatient obstetrical care
- Care of unassigned patients
- Private physician call coverage
- OB floor coverage
- Emergency Department consultations for gynecologic emergencies
- First assist for Cesarean sections
- Fetal monitoring
- Emergency response in Labor & Delivery
Program Details
- Approximately 1,700 deliveries annually
- Level III NICU
- 24/7 in-house Neonatology and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner support
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine support for high-risk pregnancies
- 24/7 in-house Anesthesiology coverage
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (Board Eligible not accepted)
- Active Texas medical license or active IMLC
- Minimum 6 months of recent OB/GYN clinical experience
- Must be clinically active within the past year
- Clean background and malpractice history
- NPDB self-query completed within 30 days of submission
- Prescreen questionnaire completed prior to submission
- CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained
- Home address, phone number, and email must appear on the first page of the CV
Credentialing & Submission Requirements
A complete presentation package is required at the time of name clear, including:
- Updated CV
- Board certification
- Texas license or active IMLC
- NPDB self-query
- Prescreen questionnaire
- Travel requirements
