Job Summary

A well-established, patient-centered women's health practice in Florida is seeking a Locum OB/GYN Physician to provide vacation coverage. Assignment Details

• Vacation coverage: August 19–22

• Full-scope OB/GYN practice

• Office schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Lunch: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

• After-hours call shared through answering service

• Respond onsite for labor and obstetric emergencies as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care

• Manage prenatal, labor & delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic patients

• Perform routine office procedures including:

  • IUD insertions and removals (Mirena & Kyleena)

  • Colposcopies

• Manage labor complications and obstetric emergencies

• Participate in off-site call coverage

• Educate patients on reproductive and women's health

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency

• Active Florida license or eligibility for licensure

• DEA required

• ACLS and BLS preferred

Credentialing

• Eligible for hospital credentialing

• Certificate of Insurance (COI) required

• Ability to complete credentialing documentation promptly
