Coverage Details:
Coverage needed between 2 OB/GYN practices, 2-3x weeks/month. Seeing 8-10 patients for half day clinic and 16-20 patients for a whole day clinic.
• Monday: clinic 8am – 4:30pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
• Tuesday: clinic 8am – 4:30pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
• Wednesday: clinic 8am – 4:30pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
• Thursday: clinic 8am – 4:30pm (with lunch from noon – 1:00pm)
• Friday: clinic 8a – 12:00pm (clinic closes at 12)
Work Details:
• Department Description: hospital owned practice
• Patient Age Group: primarily adults, some under 18 OB and GYN patients
• High Risk OB experience necessary
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC, required
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Procedures completed in office: LEEP, endometrial biopsies, COLPOS, IUD insertions (dedicated procedure room)
• Special Equipment Used: In office phlebotomy and 2 ultrasound rooms with full-time sonographers.
Requirements:
• Are Board Certifications Req’d?: BC in OBGYN required
• Which State License(s) Req’d?: NC
• Certifications Req’d? (BLS / ACLS / etc): BLS
• Specific Skills Req’d?: comfortable with rural OBGYN setting with busy office with a mix of GYN and HR OB population
• DEA Req’d?: NC
• Are vaccines mandatory?: N/A
• Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: clean backgrounds, name clear + NPI
Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: ~90-120 days
