Schedule:
- Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: Required (nights + weekends)
- Weekends: 24-hour call (Sat/Sun)
- Approx. 7 days/month of call (1st or 2nd call)
- During clinic days, provider must be available for hospital emergencies between patients (essentially 24-hour responsibility M–F when on assignment)
Facility:
- Critical Access Hospital
- Level IV Trauma Center
- EPIC EMR
- Inpatient + outpatient in same building
Practice Details:
- Full-scope OB/GYN (no expectation for scheduled surgeries unless assisting)
- Clinic + hospital privileges
- Rounding & admissions included
- Average volume:
- ~10 clinic patients/day
- 0–2 L&D patients/day
- Always supported by a second OB/GYN on call
Patient Population:
- Primarily adult (some pediatrics & geriatrics)
Requirements:
- Board Certified OB/GYN (required)
- AK license not required at submission, but must be willing to obtain quickly
- BLS required
- EPIC experience required
Compensation Notes:
- Daily rate includes 8 hours of clinic + beeper call coverage
- Additional pay for call-back and weekend call (per rate structure)
