OB/GYN Hospitalist Medical Director – Northern New Jersey
Established OB/GYN Hospitalist program in Bergen County, Northern New Jersey, approximately 15 miles from Manhattan, is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for a Medical Director opportunity. Combine clinical practice with program leadership responsibilities in a collaborative hospital-based setting.
Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time | 5–8 in-house, 24-hour shifts per month
- Clinical leadership and oversight of the OB/GYN Hospitalist program
- Monthly scheduling with balanced weekend and holiday coverage
- Obstetric emergencies, unassigned patients, and coverage for community OB/GYN physicians
- Emergent GYN coverage, including ectopic pregnancies
- Midwife support and community OB/GYN backup
- Level II NICU
- Anesthesia available in-house 24/7
- No residents
- No billing or coding responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
- $378,000–$433,000+ total annual compensation

Qualifications
- Board-Certified OB/GYN
- OB/GYN Hospitalist experience or demonstrated clinical leadership experience preferred
- Physicians with strong clinical leadership experience considered
- Current obstetric and emergency GYN clinical skills
- Eligible for New Jersey medical licensure
