Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. This is a call-only, inpatient assignment offering long-term coverage beginning August 1, 2026. Multiple providers may be considered for this opportunity.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage obstetric and gynecologic patients.
Admit patients as necessary.
Round on unassigned and practice patients.
Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as required.
Document all patient encounters accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Active and unrestricted Tennessee medical license.
Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification.
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
Willingness to provide inpatient call coverage and patient admissions.
Preferred:
Fellowship training preferred.
Working Hours
Start Date: August 1, 2026.
Assignment is ongoing.
Holiday coverage may be required.

Strong clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience working in a hospital-based setting.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (MEDHOST experience preferred).
