Job description
This OBGYN Locum Tenens position is located in California.
Location: San Francisco South Bay Area (Inquire for specific hospitals)
Duration: November 2026 - Ongoing
Reason for coverage: gaps in coverage
Schedule: 5-7 shift per month (ideally a minimum of 3 per month)
Shift: 7a-7a
Call: Group call only (11 providers in the group), no unassigned patients, there is an OB laborist group that covers unassigned and the OB laborist is on back up for call coverage, as well
Patient volume: 5-10 inpatients daily, 2-3 deliveries per 24-hour shift
Scope: 100% inpatient, call coverage for group patients, no outpatient (gyn emergent surgeries optional, option for just OB)
EMR: Epic
Hospital 1: 400 beds, level III NICU, 2,500 annual deliveries, no trauma designation
Hospital 2: 292 beds, level III NICU, 5,000 annual deliveries, no trauma designation
Group/support: Full subspecialty
Requirements (boards, license): Epic EMR experience, Clean NPDB (non-negotiable), Board certified (may consider truly board eligible), and California license at time of application
