Job description
Locums OB Hospitalist coverage is needed in California with fully on site, no call night shift work and a predictable 12 hour shift structure. Ongoing supplemental coverage is needed while a permanent FTE is recruited, with need expected to continue after the hire.
Highlights
- No call, fully on site shift based coverage
- Night shift need, 6-10 shifts/month
- Ongoing supplemental coverage during permanent recruitment, expected to continue post hire
Practice Setting
- Inpatient OB and GYN coverage
- OBED covers all patients under 37 weeks
- Adult OB GYN patient population
Schedule
- Greatest need is PM shift coverage, nights
- 12 hour shifts, scheduled as 7 days a week coverage model
- Target commitment of 6-10 night shifts/month
- No call responsibilities, shift work only
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- California license required, will not wait for license
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
