Confidential healthcare organization seeking a Lead Obstetrician/Gynecologist to provide clinical leadership and deliver high-quality women’s health services across multiple sites in Brooklyn, NY. This role combines direct patient care with medical leadership responsibilities, focusing on obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive health, quality improvement, and program development.

The Lead OB/GYN will oversee clinical protocols, mentor providers, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the growth of women’s health programs while maintaining an active patient care panel.

This position plays a key role in advancing evidence-based, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care within an integrated healthcare system.

Job Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership for OB/GYN services across multiple sites
Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care (prenatal, postpartum, family planning, and general gynecology)
Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices
Supervise, mentor, and support OB/GYN providers and clinical staff
Participate in on-call coverage and maintain hospital privileges
Lead quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
Support recruitment, onboarding, and provider performance evaluation
Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and care coordination teams
Contribute to strategic planning for women’s health programs

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active New York State medical license (unrestricted)
Active DEA registration
Minimum 5+ years of clinical OB/GYN experience
Prior leadership, supervisory, or medical staff experience preferred
Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges

Working Hours

Full-time, on-site clinical role
Includes occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage
