Position Overview

Seeking qualified OB/GYN Physicians to provide comprehensive inpatient women's health coverage. The client is actively reviewing qualified candidates and offers flexibility in scheduling. While the preferred coverage is 2–3 shifts per week, physicians with varying availability are encouraged to apply.

Coverage will include Labor & Delivery, OB Emergency Department, Cesarean Sections, Postpartum Care, Gynecology Inpatient Services, and Emergency Department consultations.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patients in Labor and Delivery using evidence-based labor management practices
• Provide care for high-risk obstetrical patients
• Evaluate and manage obstetrical emergencies following evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Perform Cesarean sections and related obstetrical procedures
• Conduct postpartum rounding and coordinate patient care before and after discharge
• Manage gynecology inpatient services, including rounding and discharge planning
• Provide emergency department OB/GYN consultations
• Perform laparoscopic procedures for conditions such as ectopic pregnancy and ovarian torsion
• Perform neonatal circumcisions (preferred but not required)

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active and unrestricted medical license
• Strong experience managing high-risk obstetrical patients
• Proficiency in obstetrical emergency management
• Experience with gynecologic laparoscopic procedures
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing neonatal circumcisions
• Prior inpatient OB/GYN hospital coverage experience
