I am working with a well-established health system in Eastern Alabama that is seeking an OB/GYN physician to help support succession planning efforts due to several upcoming retirements. This opportunity offers the flexibility to join an existing private practice or pursue a hospital-employed model while serving a growing patient population of more than 250,000 residents.
Position Highlights:
• BC/BE OB/GYN (MD/DO)
• 2026 and 2027 graduates welcome
• Multiple practice options available
• Private practice and hospital-employed pathways
• Established patient demand with immediate volume
• Nice balance of OB and GYN
• Full-time position
• Shared 1:9 call schedule
• Physicians typically deliver their own patients, but deliveries are not required when not on call
• No APP supervision required during Year 1
• No CNM coverage

• More than 2,100 annual deliveries

• 3 dedicated OB operating rooms adjacent to L&D
• Dedicated maternity assessment unit for urgent pregnancy-related evaluations

• Da Vinci Xi and Da Vinci 5 robotic platforms
• Robotics welcomed but not required
• Delivers 34+ week pregnancies
• No NICU and limited high-risk obstetrics
Compensation & Benefits:
• Two-year income guarantee starting at $375,000+ (negotiable)
• $50,000 signing bonus
• Additional call compensation:
- OB & GYN Call: $5,000 per weekend
- OB Only Call: $3,500 per weekend
- GYN Only Call: $1,500 per weekend
