JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: Certified required
  • Licenses: Licensed in WA or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Fellowship: Preferred
  • Experience: Experience in high-acuity Obstetrics & Gynecology preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Proficiency with Epic EMR, ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for the OB/GYN department
  • Manage emergent gynecological and obstetric cases presenting to the Emergency Department
  • Perform a broad range of procedures including hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy management, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertions, abscess drainage, post-hysterectomy complication management, and exploratory laparotomy
  • Collaborate with hospital midwives (5) to coordinate labor and delivery care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
