Locums | OB/GYN | Palmer, AK (AK or IMLC) Why This Role

  • Call only, light census (5 patients/shift)
  • Ongoing need — locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: Ongoing Schedule: Call only; beeper call, 30-min response, 40% callback Coverage type: Call only, inpatient Volume: ~5 patients/shift; 5 phone consults; ~2 admissions; ~800 deliveries/year; 10 beds Setting: Level 3 trauma, stroke certified, admissions required Support: Not specified EMR: Cerner/Athena Credentialing: ~5 days (emergency credentialing) Clinical Details Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major) Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN License: AK or IMLC BLS, PALS Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
