Job description
We are seeking an OB/GYN Physician for ongoing hospital-based coverage in Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers in-house call coverage with a collaborative team environment and support from Midwives and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
Assignment Details
- Ongoing coverage
- Approximately 10 days per month
- Multiple open dates available
- Hospital-based practice
Schedule
- 24-hour in-house call shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Maximum 48 consecutive in-house hours permitted
- Sleeping room available onsite
Practice Setting
- Acute Care Hospital
- Labor & Delivery coverage
- Hospital-based OB/GYN practice
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Serve as primary OB/GYN provider while on shift
- Labor and delivery management
- High-risk obstetrical care
- Emergency OB/GYN coverage
- Cesarean sections
- VBAC management
Volume & Patient Population
- Approximately 700 deliveries annually
- High-risk deliveries present
- Newborn nursery available
Support Staff
- Midwife support
- Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation available
- Collaborative labor and delivery team
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience
Credentialing
- Approximately 90 days
- Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
