Assignment Details:
• Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
• Coverage Need: 0.25 FTE
• Assignment Length: 6 months
• Average Clinic Volume: 10 patients per day
• Labor & Delivery Volume: 0–2 deliveries per day
• 25-bed hospital with 5 labor & delivery beds
• Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, and full-scope OB/GYN care
Support Staff & Coverage:
• Always paired with a second OB/GYN on call
• 24/7 ED coverage
• Hospitalist support available
Requirements:
• Board Certified OB/GYN
• BLS certification required
• Active Alaska license and DEA preferred
• Recent OB/GYN clinical activity within the past 24 months required for credentialing
Licensing:
The facility may be open to supporting qualified physicians seeking Alaska temporary locums licensure for later 2026 coverage.
