Position Overview:
We are seeking an OB/GYN Nocturnist to provide in-house nighttime coverage in a supportive, team-based environment in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a flexible locum opportunity with strong clinical support and consistent patient volume.
Schedule & Availability:
- Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Coverage needed 7 days per week
- Most dates available between July – December 2026
- Preference for providers able to commit to 7-day stretches
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Manage approximately 3–5 deliveries per day
- Handle ~5 GYN emergencies per week
- Provide in-house nocturnist backup coverage
Support & Practice Environment:
- Dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) on shift
- OB/GYN physician on call 24/7
- Collaborative, collegial team culture
- Strong nursing and ancillary staff support
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 2 years) in OB/GYN
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience (will consider 1–2 years)
- Licensure: IMLC accepted
