OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Des Moines, IA
Position Overview
Full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist position
84 annual 24-hour shifts offering flexible scheduling
No call responsibilities
Provide care for OBED patients and unassigned emergent patients
Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Opportunity to work in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
Practice Details
Approximately 1,400 annual OBED visits with one-third resulting in deliveries
Access to subspecialty support including Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Support from Iowa’s only maternal transport team
Adjunct faculty opportunity with Family Medicine Residency program
High-volume OB program with approximately 3,000 deliveries annually
Well-equipped facility with Level III NICU and dedicated OBED, labor, and postpartum units
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary of $400,000
$150,000 recruitment incentive
Up to $15,000 in relocation assistance
Paid malpractice with tail coverage
403(b) with employer match and 457(b) savings plan
CME allowance up to $6,000 annually
Comprehensive day-one benefits package
Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Eligible for medical licensure in Iowa
