Job description
Elite locum opportunity for an OB/GYN Physician in Cambridge, MA, starting July 2026 for a 4–6 month assignment. This is an inpatient-only Labor & Delivery role with no clinic duties and no call. Work alongside a strong support team including PAs and midwives in a high-volume L&D unit with approximately 1,200 births annually.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage deliveries, postpartum care, and emergent GYN cases
• Respond to ED consults and perform surgical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with PAs and midwives for patient management
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic/OBIX
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• Strong Labor & Delivery experience
• Comfortable with emergent GYN procedures
Working Hours
• Weekend Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Approx. 2 weekday + 2 weekend shifts per week
• In-house coverage (no call)
