OB/GYN Physician Opportunity in Arizona
Sierra Vista, Arizona
Full time
A community hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to join an established and thriving practice. This position is available due to the upcoming retirement of a respected physician, offering the opportunity to step into a well-developed patient base with strong community trust.
Position Highlights
• Established practice with loyal patient base and strong referral patterns
• Modern medical office located on the hospital campus
• Collaborative team including experienced OB/GYNs, Certified Nurse Midwives, and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners
• Traditional OB/GYN mix: approximately 75% obstetrics and 25% gynecology
• Full clinical and administrative support staff
• Advanced technology including Da Vinci surgical robot and new ultrasound equipment
• Integrated electronic medical records: Athena (clinic) and Cerner (hospital)
Schedule
• Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Block scheduling for operating room time with opportunity for additional cases
• Call: approximately 10 days per month including one weekend
Clinical Scope
Physicians practice the full spectrum of OB/GYN procedures including:
• Cesarean sections
• Hysterectomies including robotic-assisted procedures
• Laparoscopy
• Dilation and curettage (D&C)
• Endometrial ablations
• Fibroid resections
• Pelvic floor repairs
Candidate Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• New graduates welcome; mentorship available
• Spanish-speaking candidates highly desirable
• J-1 visa sponsorship available
