The medical center provides comprehensive women's health services with flexible departmental capacity and is committed to delivering high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care to patients in southern Indiana.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology - Laborist
Job Details:
• Provide laborist services with 12-24 hour shifts for in-house coverage only
• Full-time and part-time positions available with flexible scheduling
• Handle both low and high-risk pregnancies with comprehensive delivery services
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal deliveries and low forceps
• Conduct cesarean sections and manage breech presentations and multiple births
• Handle pregnancy complications including abruptions and VBACs
• Provide FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE monitoring
• Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations as needed
• Make critical decision-making for c-sections and delivery management
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Requires active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Patient encounters vary per shift based on unit needs
• Start date: August 1, 2026 - Ongoing

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
