Facility:
This hospital is a well-established healthcare facility serving the northern Indiana region with a comprehensive women's health program. The facility features a 72-bed department and maintains modern surgical equipment including the DaVinci X robotic system for advanced minimally invasive procedures.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide hospital call coverage for Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday on a 24-hour basis
• Handle 20-25 patient encounters per shift in a 72-bed department
• Perform deliveries, C-sections, and surgical procedures including hysterectomies
• Manage low risk pregnancies (required) and high risk pregnancies (preferred)
• Conduct routine vaginal deliveries and make decisions for c-sections
• Perform OB ultrasounds with Level I and II capabilities required
• Handle office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP
• Robotic surgical experience with DaVinci X system preferred but not required
• Must maintain active Indiana medical license only
• Board certification required with BLS and PALS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Coverage needed for alternate weekends starting April 2026
• Specific coverage dates include April, May, July, November, and December 2026
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
