Ob Hospitalist Group (OBHG)
Ob Hospitalist Group is actively seeking OB/GYN clinicians to join our hospitalist programs throughout California. We know that exceptional patient care begins with supported physicians. California Program Locations
Adventist Health Sierra Vista – San Luis Obispo
This 164-bed facility averages approximately 980 deliveries annually. OBHG physicians see an estimated 15 deliveries per month. The hospital features a Level III NICU with onsite maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) support.
Community Health Centers Santa Maria – Santa Maria
Through our partnership with Community Health Centers, OBHG provides coverage at Marian Regional Medical Center, which sees around 1,000 deliveries each year. The hospital includes a Level III NICU with on-call MFM support. Physicians may choose to remain in-house or take call from home during their shift and typically average 3–4 deliveries per day.
St. Mary Medical Center – Apple Valley
Serving the community since 1956, this 186-bed facility averages 1,600 deliveries annually. OBHG hospitalists see approximately 50 deliveries per month. The medical staff includes more than 300 physicians, with 24/7 on-call MFM support and the only Level III NICU in the region.
Rancho Springs Medical Center – Murrieta
The largest childbirth center in the region, Rancho Springs features 17 private labor and delivery suites, 24 postpartum rooms, triage areas, a dedicated PACU, and C-section operating rooms. The hospital averages 3,000 deliveries per year, with OBHG physicians seeing around 102 deliveries per month. A Level III NICU and onsite MFM support are available.
Mercy General Hospital – Sacramento
Located in the heart of Sacramento, Mercy General’s Family Birth Center has been serving families for more than 80 years. The hospital performs approximately 940 deliveries and manages 1,325 triage visits annually. OBHG physicians see an estimated 50 deliveries per month.
El Camino Hospital – Los Gatos/Mountain View
This 420-bed acute care facility serves the Silicon Valley community and averages approximately 5,000 deliveries annually. The hospital offers private birthing suites, Level II and III NICUs, and maternal-fetal medicine support for high-risk pregnancies. El Camino Hospital has received the Healthgrades Women’s Health Excellence Award for four consecutive years and is consistently ranked among America’s 100 Best Hospitals.
