A physician-led healthcare organization is expanding its established Women’s Health Hospitalist program across premier hospital locations in the Tampa Bay area. Position Overview Join a dedicated team of OB/GYN hospitalists providing 24-hour coverage for labor and delivery, obstetric triage, antepartum and postpartum care, and gynecologic emergencies. Physicians are employed directly through the hospitalist program and enjoy a balanced schedule with no call responsibilities. Schedule and Workload: Average of 7 (24-hour) shifts per month for full-time employment No on-call duties — focus fully on patient care during your shift Strong work-life balance and collaborative environment Physician colleagues available for back-up coverage when needed Hospital Features Level III NICU Maternal-Fetal Medicine available on-call 15 Labor & Delivery rooms 29 Mom & Baby rooms Qualifications MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency 3+ years of post-training practice experience preferred Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG) Board certification required within 5 years of eligibility Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or ability to obtain) Unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain) Current BLS certification This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN seeking a rewarding hospital-based position with stable employment, supportive colleagues, and the flexibility to enjoy life outside of work.
