Exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist in Columbus, Ohio. Join a dynamic academic environment providing comprehensive in-house Labor & Delivery coverage, advanced obstetrical surgery, and high-risk pregnancy management. This full-time OB Hospitalist role offers a strong emphasis on resident teaching, graduate medical education (GME), and team-based obstetrical care across multiple hospital campuses. Ideal for physicians passionate about academic medicine, maternal-fetal care, and delivering high-quality women’s health services.
Job Responsibilities
• Staff and supervise residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D)
• Manage high-risk and medically complex pregnancies
• Perform advanced obstetrical and gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomy
• Respond to OB emergencies and triage patients
• Participate in resident education, clinical supervision, and didactics
• Rotate coverage between multiple hospital sites
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
• Active Ohio medical license (or willing to obtain)
• DEA certification (or ability to obtain)
• Clean malpractice and license history
• Recent NPDB Self-Query report
• Strong interest in academic medicine and team-based OB care
